Peter Jones' inexcusable vanity

What is Peter Jones doing?! He had it all... wealth... and relative anonymity. But he seems intent on some kind of naff semi-celebrity with his money-supermarket ads. Even if he is a major shareholder in the financial comparison site it is inexcusable vanity. And at least as hammy as Michael Winner.
