Ralph Talks I think?!

Ralph knows many words now. He can use certain short phrases like ..."this way" and "dinner time" but longer sentences still elude him. His longer chatting sessions usually deteriorate into intelligible jabbering. But that's what you might expect from a 26 month old! He is quite good with shapes and can name circles, stars and triangles pretty reliably. His colours are still coming....knows the names but can't match them correctly yet.

Billy Learns to ride his bike.

Last summer he didn't have the confidence. This summer he learnt to ride on his first attempt! Well done Billy an hour of a few wobbly pedals mixed in with longer confident rides around the culdesac. :-) On mother's day too!

Ella Learns her Letters

Ella is loving school. She is very keen on learning to read, and is just getting the hang of blending letter sounds. Can't wait for her to come home with that first reading book. ;-)

Ralph grows up.

Ralph has changed over the past few months. He is less of a baby and is becoming a very funny little boy. He loves to raise both arms in the air and say "Yay!" whenever he manages to achieve anything, like getting the right piece in an inset puzzle. He is starting to talk but doesn't say many words as yet, he is pretty good at saying car, frog and teeth time. He loves to shout "Nee Naw" at any vehicle that loosely resembles a fire engine.

Ella starts school

Ella started school today. She was very excited and not at all nervous about going into school. I guess it is not the mystery it was for Billy. She skipped out happily at the end of the day and said school had been "fine"!.
